The #1Gym was opened in 1990 to meet the demand for a high-quality, no-frills health & fitness facility in Chicago's Lakeview area.

Our 3,500 square foot facility includes mens and womens locker rooms, shower, a large free weight area, cardiovascular, and cable weight machines.

The #1 Gym is an extremely clean and maintained facility that is owned and operated by Gerard A. Burczyk, B.S.; C.P.F.T., who has 30 years of experience in the health & fitness industry.

We offer a variety of affordable membership plans to suit your budget, with a multitude of discounts available. Those discounts include: corporate, group, family, room mate, and student. Weekend and off-hour plans available as well.
